Our largest annual fundraiser, the DYS Butterfly Breakfast raises approximately $20,000 in vital funding each year. DYS relies on events like this to support our programs and counseling clinic.
Yet this event is more than a fundraiser: it’s also a celebration of all the youth and families whose lives have been improved through our services. While guests enjoy a buffet breakfast with gourmet coffee bar and bid on exciting gift packages in our silent auction, they also have the privilege of hearing firsthand testimonials from young DYS clients.
In addition, each year at the breakfast we honor a volunteer from the community who has contributed significant time and resources toward supporting DYS programs.
This year we will posthumously recognize former bicycle shop owner Clyde Kilbourn for his generosity to our Earn-a-Bike program.
