DYS will be hosting its 12th Annual Butterfly Breakfast on Wednesday, June 27 from 7:30 – 9 A.M. at the Amber Room in Danbury, Ct. This year, DYS will honor Union Savings Bank – a loyal supporter of DYS and youth in the Greater Danbury Area.

Please join us in support of DYS programming. There will be fantastic auction items and raffles for all to enjoy. Also come to listen to some amazing testimonials from DYS clients – it will warm your heart.

The 19th Annual Hat City Cyclist Cyclefest will take place on June 12, 2011 at Bethel Middle School, Bethel, Ct. Cyclefest is a self-paced supported ride that benefits Danbury Youth Services, Inc. Earn-A-Bike program. For registration and fees go to hatcitycyclists.org

City of Danbury Chili Bake Off held on February 21, 2010 – Click to see if we won!

The DYS GAL’s Club girls won two (2) prizes at the Chili Bake Off held on February 21, 2010 at the Danbury Ice Arena. The first prize was for best presentation – “Hollywood Red Carpet” – and the second prize was for second place in preparing the best chili. DYS received $300.00 for the program for second place. The Chili Cook – Off is held annually and many non-profits and businesses compete for the best chili!

April 30th – 16th Annual Basketball Tournament – In Memory of Bobby DiNardo

The 16th Annual Benefit Basketball Tournament will take place on April 30, 2010 at Danbury High School in Memory of Bobby DiNardo, who was a supporter of DYS and its programs. This event raises monies for DYS programs that serve Greater Danbury Youth and Families. Please join us for a family friendly competition of basketball. December 19, 2009 Santa’s Workshop – Wheels for Kids

Cannondale has been helping “Wheels-for-Kids”, an activity of DYS, for years. This year they overhauled 135 bikes and delivered some 200 donated bikes for Santa’s Workshop. A sister company and Kiwanis Club of Danbury kindly donated 35 + helmets, so every bike was delivered with a helmet.
