About Mentoring

Mentoring provides youth ages 8-18 with a positive role model who offers support and guidance. Mentoring guarantees young people that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter (National Mentoring Partnership).

Gain personal fulfillment through contribution to the community by helping a youth mature, progress, & achieve goals. This one-on-one community-based mentoring program allows the mentor and mentee to explore the endless possibilities in the community together to establish and maintain a positive and consistent relationship for youth that may not otherwise have in their lives. Go hiking, out to eat, visit a museum, take a dance class, or play some basketball at a park. Hours are based upon a mutual agreement of availability.
